Over the summer months I can be found at the Chapel Gallery, Hawes, running a number of workshops.
In preparation I get to play a lot and make new things.
Recently I have carved a stamp out of an eraser (which you may have seen if you follow me on Facebook).
It makes a nice sized printing block,
that can be used for cards, wrapping paper, decoratively, tags, end papers for bookmaking… the uses are many.
I made cards with my leaping hare.
These are made to order and for sale (sets of 8 for £10 including p&p). Do email me if you’d like a set.
Today is Tuesday, it’s sunny out after 36 hours of continuous rain here in Hawes and this afternoon we have Textile Tea Party in the Gallery. It’s fun, full of chatter, sharing of ideas, techniques, and generally wonderful with cuppas and like-minded folk.
Here’s the beautiful view from my sitting room window. Isn’t it lovely?
Have a great Tuesday.
